Mushroom Stuffed Burgers


It's Burger Season. Out with the plain Burgers and in with the Stuffed Burgers!

Ingredients:

1 onion, diced

8oz mushrooms, chopped

3 garlic cloves minced

3-4 slices of FYH Provolone

1 Package Lightlife Gimme Lean Beef

Salt

Pepper

Olive Oil

Veg Oil for pan frying

Romaine

FYH Veganise

4 burger Buns

Directions:

In a large frying pan add a little olive oil

Heat over medium high

Add in you onions

Saute for 5 minutes

Stir in your garlic and mushrooms

Cook an additional 5-7 minutes

Season with salt and pepper

Remove from heat

Allow to cool

Preheat oven to 400

Chop your provolone into tiny pieces

Mix cheese with mushroom mix

Cut your lightlife beef into four’s

(this will become four burgers)

Take ¼ of beef and cut in half

Form each half into a patty

Form each patty into a bowl

Scoop a generous amount of mushroom mix into one half

Place the other half on top

Pinch edges to seal

Using hand form into burger patty shape

Repeat

Heat veg oil in frying pan over medium-high heat

When oil is hot place burger into pan

Heat on each side until golden brown, roughly 3-5 minutes

Remove and place on cookie sheet

Bake in oven for 5-8 minutes

Remove

Coat each side of bun with vegenaise

Place your burger patty on bottom bun

Top with lettuce

Add top bun

Serve immediately!
