Traditional Diner Burger


The simplicity of this burger is just magical! One bite and you'll swear this burger wasn't vegan.

Ingredients:

4 Beyond Meat Beyond Burger Patties, pressed down thin

4 Sesame Seed Buns

4 slices of FYH American Style Cheese Slices

2 Onions, sliced thin

Thousand Island, page bottom

4 Tablespoons of earth balance butter

Salt and Pepper

Directions:

In a large frying pan melt 2-3 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat

Once melted add in your onion

Stirring often cook for 15 minutes until golden and caramelized

Season with salt and pepper

Remove from pan

Using same pan add remaining butter

Once melted add your patties

Pan fry according to directions

Turn heat down

Top each patty with a slice of cheese

Cover and let cheese melt

Top cheese with onions

In a separate pan toast your buns over medium heat 1-2 minutes

Add your thousand Island to each bun

Using spatula remove loaded patties

Place onto bottom bun, top with top bun

Serve and Enjoy!

Thousand Island

Mix together the following:

½ heaping cup of vegenaise

3 tablespoons of ketchup

1 tablespoon of white vinegar

2 teaspoons of sugar

1-2 tablespoons of relish

1 tablespoon of minced onion

Salt and pepper

Let marinate for at least an hour
