Vegemite Roll

This Recipe, as is, feeds 4 as a side dish.

(Double the recipe to make it a main)


1 roll of pillsbury crescent roll

Roughly 1/4-1/3 cup of butter, softened

1 rounded tbsp of vegemite (or more of your a fan like I am)


Preheat oven to 375

Roll out your dough

Pinch edges to seal to make a complete rectangle

Using a pizza cutter or knife cut 3 lines lengthwise to make 4 long strips

Spread your butter evenly onto the pasty dough

Spread your vegemite evenly on top

Roll the first strip into a roll and then join it to the next strip and roll up

Continue with all strips until you have one giant roll

Place into prepared round baking pan

Press down slightly

Bake in preheated oven for 16-18 minutes until golden

Let sit for 5 minutes

Cut into slices

Serve and enjoy!
