Cheeseburger Egg Rolls




A delicious crunchy egg roll filled with all things cheeseburger. These egg rolls are cooked in the air fryer to give it that crispy crunch without all the oily mess.



Ingredients

12oz of vegan ground meat, we used impossible

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp of onion powder

Salt

2-3 Tbsps of BBQ sauce, our favorite is Kinders Mild BBQ

1-2 cups of vegan cheese shreds, we used follow your heart American cheese shreds

1 cup of chopped pickles, we used grillos

Vegan friendly egg roll wrappers

Vegan friendly thousand island for dipping*


*you can make your own quickly with 1 cup vegan mayo, 1/3 cup ketchup and 1/4 cup of relish





Directions

Heat a little oil in a non stick pan over medium

Add in your vegan ground meat

Cook until starting to brown

Add in your garlic and onion powder

Mix in your BBQ sauce

Cooked until browned

Add in your vegan cheese and pickles

Cook for 1-2 minutes and turn off heat to cool

Once cooled prepare your egg rolls

Fill your egg roll wrapper

Brush edges with water and roll up tightly

Place onto air fryer basket

Repeat with remaining egg rolls

Spray each side of egg rolls with oil

Air fry at 400 for 5-6 minutes*

Turn and air fry for an additional 5-6 minutes until golden and crispy

(Air fryer tempts vary so keep an eye to make sure you don't burn them. If they brown too quickly turn the temperature down)



*You can always fry these in oil or bake them at 425 for roughly 15-20 minutes!
