These are so darn cute! I've always loved holiday themed foods, but most are usually sweets. And if you have been following along long enough you know baking is not my favorite! So these savory mummy themes meatballs are the perfect thing. They are super easy to make, and with just a few ingredients you have the perfect savory treat to serve this Halloween!
Ingredients
10oz package of Beyond Meat Meatballs
1 8oz package of Pillsbury Crescent roll sheet (or crescent rolls just make sure to seal seams)
Roughly 1 cup of marina
2 tbsp of vegan ranch or mayo
Olives, sliced
Vegetable oil
Directions
Cook your meatballs according to directions, stop cooking 1-2 minutes before they're done
Remove from pan and cool
Preheat oven to 375
Roll out your dough
Using a sharp knife, cut small strips crosswise
You will want one strip for each meatball ( there will be extra dough, so only cut half of dough)
Take one cooled meatball and one strip of dough
Wrap dough around meatball to look like bandages, pressing end to seal
Place onto baking sheet
Repeat with remaining strips and meatballs
Bake in preheated oven for 13-15 minutes
Dough should be golden
Remove from oven
Take a small spoonful of marina and place a little onto each meatball, where the eyes will be
Then follow by placing two olive slices on top
Repeat with remaining meatballs
Pour remaining marina into bowl
Using a squeeze bottle with ranch or mayo, draw 3 circles into the marinara
Take a toothpick and draw lines to create web
Serve meatballs with webbed marinara sauce!
