Philly Cheesesteak Tater Tots

A simple platter of delicious Philly cheesesteak loaded tater tots put together in less than 30 minutes! 


32oz tater tots prepared according to directions

(The crispier the better)

2 green bell peppers, chopped

1 onion, chopped

1/3 cup bbq sauce

Salt and pepper

1 tbsps chicken less seasoning or 1 bouillon cube

7oz vegan cheese shreds

2 tbsps vegan butter

1 cup non dairy milk

Vegetable oil

10oz vegan steak chunks, we used beyond steak


Heat a large pan over medium

Add a little oil

Once hot as in your onion and peppers

Cook for 10 minutes stirring often, you want to brown them just a little

Once starting to brown add in your vegan steak

Cook until heated thoroughly 

Add in you bbq sauce

Season generously with salt and pepper

Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes

Turn off heat

In a medium-large sauce pan or deep frying pan melt your butter over medium heat

Once melted add in your milk, bouillon and season with pepper 

Mix well

Add in your cheese shreds

Cook stirring often until cheese has melted and starting to thicken

Taste test and salt if needed

Turn off heat

Time to plate your tater tots

On a large serving plate or platter add your tater tots

Drizzle with melted cheese

Top with onion and steak mix

Serve immediately and enjoy
