Chicken-Free Fries


Burger King has nothing on these Vegan bad boys!

Ingredients:

Beyond Meat Grillers

1/2 cup flour

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/2-1 cup almond milk

1 heaping tablespoon of vegenaise

1-2 cups of Ians bread crumbs

1 1/2 teaspoons of Garlic Salt

Oil for deep frying

Honey Mustard for dipping, recipe below or

FYH Honey Mustard

Directions:

Cook your grillers according to directions*

Let cool

In one bowl mix your flour and cornstarch and 1/2 steaspoon garlic salt

Stir in your milk, starting with ½ cup adding more if needed

Stir in vegenaise

Batter should be a little thicker than pancake mix

Add your breadcrumbs and 1 teaspoon garlic salt to another plate/bowl

Heat your oil in sauce pan/fryer

Dip each griller in wet mix to fully coat

Then into the bread crumbs

Press into bread crumbs firmly on each side to fully coat*

Allow to sit on greased plate for at least 2 minutes to firm up

Place griller into hot oil

Allow to deep fry for 3-5 minutes until golden and crispy

Remove from oil and drain on paper towel lined plate

Continue until all grillers have been fried.

Serve and Enjoy!

*I like to cook mine in water and chicken flavor

*If you want the batter extra thick you can repeat this process

Ms Vegan Honey Mustard

2/3 cup vegenaise

1 1/2 tablespoons dijon mustard

1/3 cup vinegar

2-3 heaping tablespoons of sugar

salt and pepper

MIx all ingredients together until fully mixed
