Cheesy Stuffed Chick'n


1 package of Gardein chicken-less tenders

Daiya Jalapeno Havarti wedge, sliced into 1/4"x3" pieces

1 cup Breadcrumbs

Juice from can of chickpeas (Aquafaba)

Oil for frying


Prepare your chicklen-less tenders

Remove from oven and cool

Using a sharp small in width knife insert the knife at the top

Carefully slice down into the tender to make a pocket

(The pocket will be the size of your cheese slices)

Using your pinky or small kitchen utensil

Press around to make room for the cheese

Carefully insert cheese slices

Press end to close up

Continue with all tenders

Heat oil in frying pan, roughly 1/2" deep

Place aquafaba in one shallow bowl, breadcrumbs in another

Place your stuffed tender into liquid

Followed by breadcrumbs, press firmly to fully coat

Place into hot oil

Fry on each side until golden brown, roughly 1-2 minutes

Repeat with remaining tenders

Serve and enjoy!*

Serve alone, or with dipping sauces
