'Chicken' Rings


Just me call me Burger Queen.....

First was the the Chicken Fries, conquered.

Next is the newly released Chicken Rings from Burger King. Conquered!

Ingredients:

1 package of Beyond Meat chicken grillers

1 tbl chicken-less flavor

1/3 cup water

1/4-1/3 cup flour

1/2 can aquafaba (juice from chickpeas)

Salt

Batter Ingredients:

1 bowl of flour

1 bowl of breadcrumbs

1 bowl of remaining Aquafaba (rest of juice from can of chickpeas)

Oil for frying

Directions:

In a medium sauce pan combine the first 3 ingredients

Cook until heated thoroughly, roughly 5 minutes

Turn off heat

Allow to sit for 30 minutes

Place into food processor and mix well

Should be shredded into tiny pieces

Add your flour and first half of aquafaba

Mix well

Season with salt

Carefully Form into rings

Place onto greased cookie sheet

Bake at 350 for 5 minutes

Remove and let cool

Once cooled, carefully handle and dip into flour

Carefully then dip into Aquafaba followed by breadcrumbs

Press to fully coat in breadcrumbs

Set aside and repeat with remaining rings

Heat oil in a medium-large frying pan

Place into hot oil

Fry on each side until golden and crispy

Remove and repeat
