Balsamic Sprout Mac N' Cheese


They always end up mixed together on your plate so why not serve them up that way!

Ingredients:

Prepared Mac and Cheese (Here are two options: Mac and Cheese or Mac And Veggie Cheese )

1-2 pounds of Brussels Sprouts

Balsamic Glaze, recipe below or Store Bought

1/4-1/3 cup Earth Balance Butter

Salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425

Cut your Brussels Sprouts in half

Drizzle with olive oil and massage into the sprouts

Place onto prepared baking sheet

Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until browned, moving them around 2-3 times in between

Remove from oven and season with a little salt

Place into a large bowl

Add in your butter and glaze

Mix well, make sure the sprouts are hot to help melt the butter

Serve over Mac and Cheese!

Balsamic Glaze:

1 cup of balsamic vinegar

1/4 rounded cup of brown sugar

In a small saucepan combine all ingredients over medium heat and mix well

Bring to a boil

Reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened, roughly 20 minutes
