Crunchy Tacos (Vegan)

Simple but delicious crunchy tacos, just like you used to get at your favorite taco spot. So easy to put together it really doesn't even require a recipe but if you want to know exactly what is in these ones all the information is below! And scroll down to see the recipe video.


12-16oz of vegan ground meat (We used Impossible Meat)

1/2 package of 1oz Taco Bell Taco Seasoning

1/4 cup water

Vegetable oil

1-2 cups shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

Block of Daiya Medium Cheddar Cheese (You won't use the whole block. You can also use pre-shredded cheese but I prefer the small shreds you get when you grate it yourself)

Vegan friendly sour cream, our favorite is by Tofutti

Hard Taco Shells


In a medium/large frying pan heat a little oil over medium-high heat

Add in your ground Meat and cook until browned

Add in your taco seasonings and 1/4 cup of water

Cook until liquid has evaporated, roughly 5 minutes

Remove from heat

Build your tacos

Stuff each shell with a generous amount ground meat

Add a drizzle of your sour cream

Top with shredded lettuce and tomatoes

Grate your block cheddar on top of the tacos

Serve and enjoy!
