Easy Stuffed Mushrooms

Stuffed Mushrooms are the perfect party appetizer. These are so easy to make. With a few ingredients you have a super flavorful appetizer that your guests will love.

These can be prepared ahead of time. Just prepare the stems, stuff the caps and refrigerate. Then pop them in the oven roughly 20-30 minutes before guests arrive.


14-16oz whole mushrooms

1/2 onion, diced

1 tbsp crushed garlic

4oz vegan cream cheese

2 Tbsp nutritional yeast

Salt and pepper

2 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley

Olive oil

2 Tbsp vegan Parmesan, we used Kelly’s croutons

1/3 cup of bread crumbs, we used Kelly’s crouton crumbs


Preheat oven to 400

Gently remove stems from mushrooms

Chop stems into fine pieces

Heat a medium frying pan over medium heat

Add in a little oil, your chopped stems and onion

Sauté for 5 minutes

Add in your garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes

Remove from heat, drain liquid if necessary

Allow to cool

Place into medium bowl

Add in your cream cheese, nutritional yeast, Parmesan and parsley

Season with salt and pepper

Mix well

Stuff your mushroom caps with mixture

Place onto baking sheet

Top with your breadcrumbs

Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes

Remove, serve and enjoy
