Hands down one of the best pizzas we have made. It was so good, after we made it the first time we made it for several weeks in a row. And I suggest if you have the ingredients make your own honey mustard, it's amazing!!!
Ingredients
Pizza dough, homemade or my favorite store bought is from Whole Foods
Honey Mustard (Recipe below, or use Follow Your Heart)
1 1/2 cups of prepared Vegan Chicken, chopped
1/2 cup of Cooked Bacon Chunks, we used All Vegetarian Bacon
1-2 cups of Vegan Shreds (we used a mix of mozzarella and cheddar)
1/4-1/3 cup of Pickled Red Onions, recipe below
1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions or chives
Directions
Heat oven according to pizza dough directions
Spread a good amount of honey mustard on the dough, preserve roughly 1-2 tbsp to drizzle after its cooked
Sprinkle with your cheese shreds
Top with your chopped prepared chicken and bacon
Bake in preheated oven until golden
Remove and drizzle with remaining honey mustard
Sprinkle with your pickled onions and green onions or chives
Serve and enjoy!
Honey Mustard
Ingredients
1/2 rounded cup of Vegenaise
1/4 cup of yellow mustard
2 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp of Maple Syrup
Directions
Mix all ingredients together
Keep in refrigerator until ready to use
Quick Pickled Red Onions
Ingredients
1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 cup of water
1 red onion, thinly sliced
Directions
Whisk together first 4 ingredients
Whisk until everything is mixed in and sugar and salt is disolved
Place sliced onions into a large jar with a lid
Pour liquid into jar
Cover with a lid
Leave at room temperature for at least one hr
Refrigerate until ready to use
