Kofta Kabobs (Vegan)

Kofta is a Middle Eastern dish made from ground meat mixed with onions, garlic, and spices. Today we are bringing you a vegan version mixing vegan ground beef and sausage with spiced wrapped around a skewer to create a delicious Kofta Kabob!


16oz of Beyond Beef

14oz of Beyond Sausage

2 tbsp of olive oil

1 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

Pinch or two of salt

3/4 cup freshly chopped flat leaf parsley

Skewer Sticks


In large bowl combine the first 9 ingredients

Add in roughly 1/3 cup of freshly chopped parsley

Mix well

Place into the refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour

Preheat your grill

(we used a stove top grill)

Remove from fridge

Take a large handful of mix and one skewer

Tightly wrap the ground mix around the skewer

Repeat with remaining skewers and ground mix

Place onto your heated grill

Cook on each side for roughly 5-7 minutes

Remove from pan

Plate, and garnish with remaining parsley
