Sausage and Pepper Rolls




I’ve teamed up again with @theverygoodbutchers to make these Sausage and Pepper Rolls. Using their Bratwurst Sausages. We used rolls that look like little footballs, great for the big game day which is right around the corner

Ingredients

1 package of The Very Good Butchers Bratwurst Sausages

6 Bollilo Rolls

3 Vegan Cheese slices, we used Provolone

Spicy Brown Mustard

1/2 onion, chopped

1/2 red bell pepper, chopped

1/2 green bell pepper, chopped

1/2 orange bell pepper, chopped

Olive or Vegetable oil

Salt

Green onions for garnish




Directions

Preheat oven to 400

Chop your sauces and place them onto baking sheet

Add your onion and peppers

Drizzle with a little oil and salt

Mix well

Cook in oven for roughly 30 minutes until starting to brown

Remove and set aside

Cut out a little of the top of your rolls

Place half a slice of cheese in each roll

Place rolls onto baking sheet

Bake in oven for roughly 5 minutes until cheese has melted

Remove and brush the top with your spicy mustard

Fill each roll with sausage and pepper mix

Garnish with green onions

Serve and enjoy!
