Sausage & Gravy Biscuit Bombs



Taking sausage and gravy and stuffing them inside accidentally vegan biscuits and baking them into delicious biscuit bombs!


Ingredients

1 can of vegan friendly biscuits (8 count)

14oz of vegan breakfast ground sausage

1 tbsp veg oil

3 tbsp flour

2-3 cups of non dairy milk

Salt

Pepper

1/4 cup of vegan egg or melted butter

1/4 cup of chopped chives


Directions

Heat your oil in a non stick pan over medium

Crumble in your vegan sausage

Cook until browned

Add in your flour

Mix until thickened

Slowly add in your your milk, 1 cup at a time

You'll add in between 2 and 3 cups

Mix until desired sausage and gravy consistency

You want it to be thick and not watery

Remove from pan and place into a bowl

Cover and refrigerate until cooled

Preheat oven to 375

Roll out one biscuit to form a round disc

Place a large spoonful of sausage mix into the center

Wrap up your biscuit around and press edges to seal

Place onto greased baking sheet

Brush tops with vegan egg or butter

Sprinkle each with chopped chives

Bake in preheated oven for roughly 20 minutes until golden

Remove and let cool 2-3 minutes

Serve and enjoy!
