BBQ 'Chicken' Fries


You no longer have to venture out to the fair to enjoy good foods like these BBQ Chicken Fries. Loaded with Slow cooked BBQ Pulled Chicken, Melted Daiya, and Onions.

Ingredients:

1 package of Beyond Meat Southwestern Grillers

1 cup BBQ sauce

1/2 cup water

1-2 tablespoons of mustard

2 tablespoons-1/4 cup brown sugar

Dash of paprika and chili powder

1/2 onion chopped

2 tablespoons of white vinegar

1 package of frozen Fries, or homemade fries

1 block of Daiya Cheddar Cheese, chopped

1 tablespoon of earth balance butter

2 tablespoons, or more of Almond milk

1/2 red onion, diced

1 bunch of green onions chopped

Directions:

In a small/medium crock pot add your first 8 ingredients

Mix well and turn on for 4-6 hours

When done, shred each piece with two forks

Keep in your slow cooker on warm

Prepare your Frozen Fries

While fries are cooking make your cheese sauce

Melt your butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat

Add in your cheese and milk

Cook over medium stirring often

Continue to cook until melted, adding more milk if too thick

Season with salt and pepper

Plate your fries

Cover with Cheese

Add your shredded chicken

Top with Green and Red Onions

Serve and Enjoy!
