Breaky Pizza


This is one of the best breakfast dishes i've ever made or tasted! I used to make it with tofu but now with the Follow Your Heart egg it's better than ever! Perfect for a holiday weekend or just a lazy sunday in.

Ingredients:

2 crescent rolls packages

Large pizza pan, (you can use a cookie sheet and make a square pizza)

1 Light Life Gimme Lean Breakfast Sausage

1-2 tablespoon of Vegetable oil

Roughly 6-8 Follow Your Heart Eggs, lightly scrambled

1/2 onion, chopped

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1 large tomato, chopped

1/4-1/2 teaspoon Turmeric

1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast

Pinch of Garlic salt

Pinch of Pepper

Dash of Soy sauce

1 Daiya cheddar wedge, shredded (You can buy the shreds, I just prefer to shred the cheese really fine)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375

Sauté breakfast sausage in a little oil over medium-high heat

Breaking it apart as it browns, cook until it's heated and crumbled

Set aside

In a medium sauce pan heat oil and onions over low heat

Allow to cook for 10 minutes, stir halfway through

Remove from pan and place in medium-large bowl

Toss with prepared scrambled 'eggs'

Turn heat to medium-high

Add in your turmeric, nutritional yeast, salt, pepper, and soy sauce

Mix with spoon to combine

Add in your tomatos and scallions

Mix well

Grease your pizza pan

Add crescent rolls, layering them ontop of one another with points inward

Form into round pizza, blending each piece together using fingers

Press out dough to edge of pan, form a crust with your fingers

Place in oven for 5 minutes

Remove from oven and top 'egg' mix

Add your sausage evenly on top

Follow by evenly adding your shredded cheese

Allow to cook for 18-20 minutes until crust is starting to brown

Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes

Cut, serve and enjoy!
