Maple Tempeh Bacon Crack

Not sure if you have ever heard of Maple Bacon Crack, if not google it and see all the rave because now its veganized and you can enjoy the cruelty and cholesterol free version!


1 package of Lightlife Maple Tempeh Bacon

1 roll of Crescent Rolls

1/4/-1/3 cup of Maple Syrup

Roughly 3/4 cup of Brown Sugar

Vegetable oil for cooking


Preheat oven to 375

Cook your tempeh in a little oil over medium high heat

While cooking Crumble into tiny pieces as it cooks using your spatula/fork

Brown on all sides, adding more oil if needed

Remove to cool

Place parchment paper down onto a cookie sheet

Spray generously with cooking spray

Unroll your crescent rolls

Pinch edges together to seal, you should form a large rectangle

Spread with half your maple syrup

Top with brown sugar followed by your tempeh bacon crumbles

Drizzle with remaining maple syrup

Bake for roughly 20-25 minutes until golden

Remove and cool for 10 minutes

Cut, serve and enjoy!
