Chimichurri 'Steak' Fries

Wow, wow, wow. That's what I said when taking a bite and I bet you will too! With very few ingredients, and pretty simple to make you can create a dynamite dish that will impress you're friends and family!


1 package of frozen fries of choice (or feel free to make homemade French fries)

1 package of Gardein beefless tips, thawed

Chimicurri Sauce, Recipe below

Mini Peppers, sliced


Cook your fries according to directions

Cut your beefless tips into smaller pieces

Heat a non-stick pan over medium high heat

Add a little oil

Add in your beefless tips

Cook, turning often until starting to brown

Remove fries when golden and starting to crisp

Plate your fries

Top with your cooked beefless tips

Add a generous amount of sauce

Add your peppers

Serve and enjoy!

Chimichurri recipe:

Combine together the following

½ rounded cup finely chopped flat leaf parsley

1/4/-1/3 cup olive oil

1 tbls minced garlic

2-tbls of red wine vinegar

1 tbl of finely chopped fresh oregano

½ jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
