Weeknight Dumplings


Turning an appetizer into a meal with Nasoya delciious vegan dumplings!

Ingredients:

Nasoya Dumplings

Cabbage Slaw, recipe belwo

Dip/Dressing, recipe below

Vegetable Oil

Directions:

Prepare your dumplings in a pan according to directions

Plate a generous amount of your Slaw

Top with a few dumplings

Garnish with more cilantro

Serve with a small side of the dipping/dressing sauce

Cabbage Slaw:

¼ cup of rice vinegar or red wine vinegar

¼ cup of soy sauce

2 tbl of vegetable oil

1 tbl of minced ginger

3 tbl of sugar

Roughly 3 cups of shredded purple cabbage

½ rounded cup of shredded carrots

1-2 cups of edamame beans, shells removed

½ bunch of cilantro chopped

Directions:

Whisk together the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl

When mixed well add in remaining ingredients

Toss well using your hands to make sure everything gets mixed and marinated into the dressing

Allow to marinate in refrigerator until ready to use, at least 1 hour

Dipping/Dressing Sauce

Whisk together the following:

1 tbl minced garlic

½ tbl of chili garlic sauce

1/3 cup of ponzu sauce

2 tbl of soy sauce

1 tbl maple syrup or sugar
