Dynamite Stack


Veganizing a classic sushi dish. Dynamite, a spicy creamy sauce. When cooked the sugar caramelizes creating a dish so delectable.

Ingredients:

1/3 cup of Follow Your Heart Vegenaise, plus 1 tbl for after cooking

2 tbl of soy sauce, plus a splash for after cooking

1 tbl of Sriracha, plus a drizzle for after cooking

1 tbl of sugar

Roughly 15oz of Hearts of Palm roughly chopped

2 Persian cucumbers, thinly sliced

1-2 avocados roughly chopped

Dried Seaweed, finely chopped for garnish

Sesame seeds for garnish

1-2 cups of cooked sushi rice

1 tbl Rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

Directions:

Whisk together the first 4 ingredients

Combine with your hearts of palm

Place into baking dish and place under the broiler for roughly 10 minutes, mixing up halfway

Remove and let cool

Once cooled add in your remaining vegenaise, soy sauce and sriracha

Mix well

Whisk together your vinegar and sesame oil

Drizzle over sliced cucumbers, allow to marinate for 10 minutes

Using a deep ramekin dish plate your stack

Line your dish with saran wrap, making sure the pieces are longer than the ramekin

Place your dynamite hearts of palm in the bottom and press firmly

Followed by your avocado then your cucumber

Lastly press in your sushi rice

Press down firmly

Carefully turn ramekin dish upside down onto plate

Using saran wrap gently remove the stack from the dish

Keeping saran wrap on the stack use your hands to make sure it's shape is still good

Remove the saran wrap

Sprinkle with sesame seeds followed by seaweed
