Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls

Using cinnamon rolls to create a delicious pocket for a nice apple pie. Using canned cinnamon rolls, this is and easy fool proof dessert. I scarfed these down and I'm not even an apple pie fan. This quick and easy dessert is perfect to impress your friends and family.

(This recipe makes 5)


1 can of vegan friendly cinnamon rolls (I used immaculate baking cinnamon rolls)

2-3 apples, peeled, cored and chopped ( I used Gala apples)

1 rounded tsp of cinnamon

2 rounded tbsps brown sugar

Splash of vanilla

1-2 tbsp. of caramel, optional ( I used Natures Charms Salted Caramel Sauce)


In a small pan add you apples

Heat to medium heat

Add in your cinnamon and sugar

Mix well

Cook stirring often for roughly 5-7 minutes

Stir in caramel if using

Let cook for 2-3 minutes then cool

Preheat oven to cinnamon roll directions

Remove rolls from package

Flatten and Roll out each cinnamon roll to form a disc

Place the disc inside a greased muffin pan to form a cup

Repeat with remaining cinnamon rolls

Pour your apple mix into each cinnamon roll cup

Bake in preheated oven for 16-18 minutes

Until cinnamon rolls are cooked

Remove from oven and cool slightly

Carefully remove apple pie cinnamon rolls from pan

Drizzle with icing

Serve and enjoy
