BBQ Plant Based Rib Biscuit Bake

Today we are bringing you a delicious biscuit casserole using The Very Good Butcher Maple Bourbon BBQ Plant Based Ribs. They are absolutely delicious and I guarantee you will fallen love with this easy recipe.

If you can't find these ribs you can easily substitute them with a vegan meat alternative of your choosing. You may want to add in a little more bbq sauce if you do.


14.1 oz package of The Very Good Butchers Maple Bourbon BBQ Plant Based Ribs

1 red onion, diced

Roughly 2 cups of BBQ Sauce

1 16.3 oz can of vegan friendly biscuit dough, cut into chunks*

7oz of vegan cheese shreds

Vegan friendly Ranch

Cilantro for garnish

*Pillsbusy has the following vegan biscuit options: Four flavors of Pillsbury Biscuits are vegan: “Grands! Southern Homestyle Original Biscuits,” “Grands! Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits,” “Grands! Flaky Layers Sweet Hawaiian Biscuits,” and “Flaky Layers Buttermilk Biscuits.” The other flavors all contain milk ingredients.


Cook your ribs according to directions

While cooking break into bite size pieces

Add roughly 1/2-1 cup of BBQ Sauce to pan

Cook until heated and starting to brown

Turn off heat and let cool

Preheat oven to 350

Grease a 9x13 baking pan

Evenly add in your biscuit pieces

Top with your cheese, 1 cup of bbq sauce, and 1/2 of your onion

Mix well and spread evenly in pan

Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes

Remove and cool for 5 minutes

Top with vegan ranch

Garnish with red onion and cilantro

Serve and enjoy!
