Crunchy Asian Salad

I always have a craving for a restaurant style crunchy asian salad so. I'm happy to finally have a recipe to make at home. This definitely hits the spot!


1/4 cup of vegetable oil

1/4 cup rice wine vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tbsp minced ginger

1 garlic clove, minced

2 tbsps soy sauce

2-3 tbsps maple syrup

1 rounded cup of romaine lettuce, chopped

2 cups of chopped napa cabbage

1 cup of chopped purple cabbage

1/2 cup of shredded carrots

1/2 cup of chopped cilantro

1/3 cup of chopped green onions

1/3 cup of slivered almonds

15oz can of mandarin oranges

8oz of vegan crispy chicken, cooked and chopped

1 packet of top ramen, without seasonings, uncooked and roughly chopped

White sesame seeds

Black sesame seeds


Add the first 7 ingredients to a medium bowl

Whisk and place into refrigerator for 20 minutes

In a large bowl add your romaine, Napa cabbage, purple cabbage, carrots, cilantro, green onions, almonds and half of your mandarin oranges

Mix well

Add in your chicken pieces and chopped crispy noodles

Top with dressing

Toss until mixed well

Top with remaining mandarin oranges

Sprinkle with sesame seeds

Serve immediately and enjoy!
