Deep Dish Pizza (Vegan)


A delicious deep dish pizza loaded with peppers, vegan sausage, onions and tomatoes!


Ingredients

Pizza dough, we used the one from Whole Foods

10-12oz of Ground Vegan Sausage, cooked

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 orange bell pepper, diced

1/2 onion, cut into chunks

8-10oz of Vegan Shredded Mozzarella

28oz can of Italian Style diced tomatoes

1/3 cup of shredded parmesan

Salt and pepper

8"-10" Spring pan

1-2 tbsps melted butter


Directions

Preheat oven to 425

Brush your spring pan generously with melted butter

Roll out your pizza dough Then carefully fold in half and place into pan

Press sides up onto sides of pan to form your crust

Spread a couple spoonful's of tomatoes on the bottom of the dough

Top with your cheese

Add in your peppers and onion

Top with your canned tomatoes

Spread evenly to cover entire pizza

Season with salt and pepper

Sprinkle with parmesan

Bake in preheated oven for roughly 45 minutes*

Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes

Carefully remove outside of the spring pan

Let sit for an additional 5 minutes

Slice (If it's still too watery when you cut into the pizza let it sit a little longer)

Serve and enjoy!



*If top start to brown cover with foil halfway through
