Easy Tomato Tart

A delicious savory tart with heirloom tomatoes, soft vegan mozzarella, basil and balsamic glaze! Delectable!


1 puff pasty sheet, thawed and rolled our into rectangle

8oz vegan soft mozzarella, we used Miyokos Mozzarella

1-2 heirloom tomatoes, sliced

Salt and pepper

1/2 cup fresh basil, roughly chopped

Balsamic glaze

Olive oil


Preheat oven to 400

Place your pastry sheet onto parchment lined baking sheet

Brush with olive oil

Crumble and press3/4 of your vegan mozzarella onto pastry sheet

Top with your sliced tomatoes, evenly in rows

Top with remaining mozzarella

Season with salt and pepper

Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden

Remove from oven

Drizzle with balsamic glaze and top with fresh basil

Cut into squares

Serve and enjoy!
