Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts

Wow, is the first word that came to my mind when I took a bite of this dish. This takes side dishes to a new level of deliciousness. It's sweet, it's savory, it's exactly what your holiday spread is missing.


6 slices of All Vegetarian Bacon, thawed and chopped into bite size pieces

1 lb of Brussels Sprouts

1/4 cup of Avocado Oil or Olive Oil

3 tbsps of Maple Syrup

1-2 tbsps of Balsamic Vinegar

Pinch of salt and pepper

Balsamic glaze for garnish


Preheat oven to 400

Trim a little from the bottom of your brussels sprouts and slice in half

Whisk together your oil, maple syrup and balsamic vinegar (start with 1 tbsp and add more if you want. I usually end up with about 1 1/2 tbsp)

Season with salt and pepper

Add in your brussels sprouts and bacon

Toss generously to coat evenly

Place onto prepared baking sheet

Bake for 40-45 minutes shaking pan halfway through

Remove and let sit 5 minutes

Plate onto a serving dish

Drizzle with balsamic glaze

Serve and enjoy!
