Matty's Patty's (Vegan)




When I saw Mr. Matty Matheson himself make this burger on his cooking show I knew I had to make a vegan version.

What makes this burger so unique is his sauce. Which is a mix off all your favorite burger toppings. Mustard, Mayo, Ketchup, Onions and Pickles.


(Recipe makes 4 double burgers)


Ingredients

1 cup yellow mustard

1/2 cup Vegan Mayo

1/2 cup Ketchup

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced pickles

4 Vegan Yellow Cheese slices

24oz of Vegan Ground Burger Meat

4 potato sesame buns

Salt and pepper

Oil



Directions

Combine the first 5 ingredients

Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use

Form your ground meat into a ball, there should be enough to make 8 balls

Place into refrigerator for at least 30 minutes

Heat your skillet (Preferably cast iron) over medium high

Remove your burger balls and place 2 into the hot skillet

Using a hamburger press or metal spatula press each patty down to form thin patties

Season with salt and pepper

Flip and cook until browned, won't take very long

Place a slice of cheese on top

Then splash in a little water

And cover until cheese has melted

Repeat with remaining patties

Build your burgers

Place two patties on your bottom bun

Add your Matty sauce

Add top bun

Serve and enjoy!
