A delicious savory monkey bread with all things pizza. We are using marinara, vegan mozzarella and vegan pepperoni to make this scrumptious dish!
Ingredients
16.3 oz can of vegan friendly biscuit dough, cut into small pieces*
1/2 cup of vegan butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1-2 tbsps Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper
1 cup of marinara, plus 1/2 cup for serving
7oz vegan cheese shreds, preferably mozzarella
5oz vegan pepperoni
Fresh basil for garnish
*Four flavors of Pillsbury Biscuits are vegan: “Grands! Southern Homestyle Original Biscuits,” “Grands! Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits,” “Grands! Flaky Layers Sweet Hawaiian Biscuits,” and “Flaky Layers Buttermilk Biscuits.” The other flavors all contain milk ingredients.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
To your melted butter add your garlic powder and Italian seasonings
Season with salt and pepper, set aside
Add your biscuit dough pieces to a large bowl
Add in your seasoned butter
Mix well to fully coat
Add in 1 cup of marinara
Mix well
Add in your cheese shreds and pepperoni and mix well
Evenly add mixture to a greased Bundt pan
Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until golden and cooked
Remove and let cool 5 minutes
Using a knife or spatula carefully loosen sides of monkey bread
Place serving plate on top and carefully flip so monkey bread comes out onto plate
Place remaining marina sauce into a bowl and place into center of monkey bread
Garnish with fresh basil
Serve and enjoy!
