Simple Weeknight Pasta

This simple and delicious pasta will bring you to life and help you get through the week ahead!


1 package of LightlIfe Gimme Lean Ground Sausage

16oz Fusilli Pasta

2-3 tablespoons crushed garlic

1/2 rounded cup butter

1/3 cup chicken-less broth

¼ cup nutritional yeast

1.5 cups cherry tomatoes

Garlic Salt


5oz baby spinach

Veg Oil

Follow Your Heart Parmesan


Cook pasta according to direction, reserve 1/3 cup of pasta water

In a medium frying pan add roughly 1 tbl of oil

Heat over medium high heat

Crumble in your sausage

Cook stirring and breaking apart for 5-7 minutes, until starting to brown

Add in more oil as cooking if needed

Remove sausage from pan, leaving any residue in the pan

In the same pan add your butter and garlic

Cook for 2-3 minutes

Add in your broth, nutritional yeast and a little salt and pepper

Mix well

Add in your cherry tomatoes and let them cook down for 2-3 minutes

Add in your pasta and mix well

Stir in your spinach and reserved pasta water

Mix well and season with salt, pepper and more nutritional yeast if desired.

Serve and top each plate with parmesan
