Philly Cheese Steak Burger

Taking a traditional delicious burger and topping it with the flavors of Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, onions, peppers and melted cheese!

(Should make 4 medium sized single patty burgers)


1 12oz package of Impossible Meat ( or your favorite plant based burger)

1 green bell pepper diced

1/2 sweet onion, diced

1/3-1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Salt and Pepper

1/2 tbsp of Nutritional yeast

Follow Your Heart Vegenaise

4 Buns of choice ( I also like to brush buns with a little butter)


In a medium frying pan saute your onions in a little oil over medium-high heat

Cook f0r 5 minutes stirring often

Add in your bell pepper

Cook for an additional 5 minutes, adding more oil if necessary

Add in your cheese and nutritional yeast

Stir until cheese is melted.

Season with salt and a generous amount of pepper

Mix well

Turn off heat and set aside

Prepare your burger patties Using roughly 1/3 cup of impossible meat form into thin patties

Cook in skillet on each side for 3-4 minutes until browned

Remove from pan and assemble burgers

Spread vegenaise on each bun

Top with burger patties following by cheese mix

(If cheese mix hardened while making burger patties just throw pan back onto heat for 2-3 minutes to soften)

Serve immediately and enjoy!
