Bacon Cheeseburger Braid

The second I took a bite, all I could ask myself is, why did it take me this long to make it? This was absolutely one of the most delectable dishes.


12-14oz of vegan ground meat, cooked and seasoned with salt and pepper

2 cups of shredded vegan american cheese

Roughly 6-8 pieces of vegan bacon, cooked and chopped

1 Pillsbury pizza dough roll, 13.8oz package

Roughly 1 of ketchup

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1/4 cup of Vegan Liquid Egg

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup pickles

1 cup of chopped tomatoes

Vegetable Oil



Preheat oven to 425

On a floured surface roll out your dough

Spread evenly with ketchup

Top with your cheese

Followed by your browned vegan meat and cooked vegan bacon

Starting at one long side end roll your dough to form a large log, seal edges

Using a serrated knife cut down the center to create two logs but keep the top attached

You will now have to logs with the fillings exposed

Carefully twist/braid the two logs around one another

Press firmly to seal

Place into a greased baking pan

Brush the top of your braid with your vegan egg

Sprinkle generously with sesame seeds

Bake in preheated oven for roughly 30 minutes until golden

Remove and let sit 5 minutes

Carefully remove from pan and place onto serving platter

Top with your lettuce, pickles and tomatoes

Serve and enjoy!
