Jumbo sized pasta shells filled with seasoned vegan grounds and cheese then topped with all things cheeseburger! So good!!!
Ingredients
1/2 onion, diced
12-16oz vegan ground meat
1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
1/3 cup of ketchup plus more for topping
2 tbsps. mustard
Salt and pepper
1-2 cups of vegan cheese shreds
Jumbo pasta shells cooked, roughly 15-20 shells
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Diced pickles
Sesame seeds
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Heat a little oil in a large pan over medium high heat
Add in your onion
Sauté until translucent
Add in your vegan grounds
Crumble and cook until browned
Add in you bbq sauce, ketchup and mustard
Season with salt and pepper
Mix well
Turn off heat
Add in roughly 1 cup of your vegan cheese
Mix well
Grease a baking pan
Stuff each shell with ground mix
Place into greased baking pan
Top shells with vegan cheese
Drizzle shells with ketchup
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes until cheese has melted
Remove and top with lettuce and tomatoes
Garnish with sesame seeds
Serve and enjoy!
