Dumpling Lasagna 



The easiest way to make and enjoy homemade dumplings! 


Ingredients

12oz vegan ground sausage 

1 tbsps minced ginger

1 tbsp minced garlic

3 tbsps soy sauce

3 tbsps ponzu 

1 tsp sesame oil

1/3 rounded cup green onions diced plus more for garnish

2-3 tbsps chili crisp oil

Sesame seeds

Won ton wrappers

Small/Medium casserole dish



Directions

Preheat oven to 350

In a medium bowl add your sausage, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, 2 tbsps ponzu, sesame oil and 1 tbsps chili crisp oil 

Mix well

Dip one wok ton wrapper into a bowl of water until fully drenched to soften

Place into the bottom of your dish

Repeat until bottom is covered

Take half your sausage mix and spread on top

Once spread evenly do another layer of wonton sheets

Add remaining sausage and spread evenly

Finish with one last layer of wonton sheets 

Place dish inside of a large dish*

Pour a little water on top of your layer of wontons to keep is moist

Pour water into large casserole dish so your dish is surrounded by water

Cover entire dish with foil tightly

Bake/steam in preheated oven for roughly 30-35 minutes

Remove from oven and carefully remove from larger casserole dish

Garnish top with remaining ponzu, chili crisp oil, sesame seeds and green onions

Serve and enjoy! 

*ultimately if you have a steam method you can just steam for 30 minutes
